Religious Education Programs at St. Patricia

What grades are offered for the Full Year RE Program?

  • We offer RE classes for Kindergarten through 8th grade.  Classes are held Tuesday evenings from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.

What are the requirements for children to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation?

  • Children must be baptized.  The Archdiocese requires the children to take part in a two year preparation program for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation.  The Sacrament of First Reconciliation is generally received in Second Grade, prior to receiving First Holy Communion.  First Holy Communion is the second of our three Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism is our first). It is through these sacraments that we become full members of the Church. Our third Sacrament of Initiation, Confirmation, is celebrated in the spring of Eighth Grade.

Do you offer any classes for Teens who are in need of receiving Sacraments?

  • Yes, they may register for our Teen RCIA Program. It is a one year program which runs from September through March.  Classes are held Tuesday evenings from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
  • Visit RCIA Program Page for more information

Do you offer any program for Adults who are in need of receiving Sacraments or would like to become a Catholic?
