The Religious Education Program at St. Patricia Parish provides Catholic Faith Formation to children from Kindergarten through High School and beyond (OCIA – Order of Christian Initiation of Adults). Our mission is to encourage our students to follow Jesus Christ by being a witness of faith. Our goal is to be His missionary disciples. We work to promote the teachings of the Holy Church, Sacred Scripture, Sacramental Life and expand their knowledge of the teachings and traditions of our Catholic Faith.

What grades are offered for the Full Year RE Program?
- We offer RE classes for Kindergarten through high school. Classes are held Tuesday evenings from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
What are the requirements for children to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation?
- Children must be baptized. The Archdiocese requires the children to take part in a two year preparation program for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation. The Sacrament of First Reconciliation is generally received in Second Grade, prior to receiving First Holy Communion. First Holy Communion is the second of our three Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism is our first). It is through these sacraments that we become full members of the Church. Our third Sacrament of Initiation, Confirmation, is celebrated in the spring of Eighth Grade.
Do you offer any classes for Teens who are in need of receiving Sacraments?
- Yes, they may register for our Teen Program. It is a one year program which runs from September through March. Classes are held Tuesday evenings from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
Do you offer any program for Adults who are in need of receiving Sacraments or would like to become a Catholic?
- Yes, they may register for our Adult OCIA Program. It is a one year program which runs from October through March or April. Classes are held Monday evenings from 6:00pm to 7:30pm.
