Ushers perform one or more of the following services at Mass. They greet parishioners at the door as they arrive and help seat the assembly. Ushers take up the collection(s), select members of the assembly to bring up the gifts, and assist in Communion procession. They distribute weekly bulletins and handouts at the door as the assembly leaves. Ushers tidy the worship area as needed. Ushers assist in any medical needs/emergencies of members of the congregation during Mass. All ushers complete mandatory Virtus Training. We need caring, sympathetic people who enjoy interacting with the congregation each week. High school teens are encouraged to serve as ushers at any of the weekend Masses.
