
What is OCIA?
OCIA refers to the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) program within the Archdiocese of Chicago. OCIA is a process for adults preparing to become Catholic, involving spiritual formation, community life, and ultimately, the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. It is a process of evangelization when one experiences an encounter with Jesus Christ and makes a conscious choice to explore the Christian faith.
